Over 30 years ago, I left Southeast Asia for Philadelphia, driven by the promise of a fresh start. It wasn’t just a move; it was a bold reinvention. I stepped into an unfamiliar world, leaving behind my family, my community, and the vibrant culture that had defined me. The shift was daunting—navigating a new country, adapting to a different education system, and finding my way in a culture that prized individualism over collaboration. Each challenge tested my resilience, adaptability, and inner strength, shaping the leader I am today.

My career journey has been far from linear. From earning a Bachelor’s in hospitality, a core of ASEAN economies, to obtaining an MBA in finance and becoming an ICF ACC accredited coach, each shift was fueled by a deeper search for purpose.
